Welcome to The History of Terra Verdi. Terra Verdi was established in 1996 by an ambitious boy who wanted to make a little bit of money by mowing lawns. Little did he know at the time that it would become his life. Over time he became intrigued how a few plants placed in the right spots could make a house look like a million dollars. Through his last years of high school he took Agriculture and Horticulture classes to make himself aware to disease control, proper watering, placement, maintenance etc. He and his best friend decided to put their knowledge into a business. They went and got their business license and worked with the tools they could get. All they started out with was a mower, a weedeater, an edgier, a tiller, two shelves, two hoes, and a few hand tools all loaded in the back of their '79 Ford F100. Today their little two-person business has turned into a profitable landscaping company. Today they still both do a lot of the work themselves, not because they have to but because they want to. They love to work outdoors and in the dirt. OWNER'S INFO Matthew A. Taylor 6'2'' Short Brown Hair, Hazel Eyes. Born: Sept. 19, 1984 Established Company in 1996 in the small town of Tenino, WA. In 2000 he moved the company to the Tacoma, WA area where he currently runs it with his best friend Robert Motley.

Has been helping with the growth of Terra Verdi. Has sacrificed many days and nights to help get Terra Verdi off the ground.
